About Ramnik Soni
Ramnik Soni has served as Chief Operating officer and Chief financial officer at Alaris Aerospace Systems since 2013. Before his role at this company, Ramnik Soni spent nearly 14 years in the energy industry.
Mr. Soni began his career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services, LTD as a field engineer, general field engineer, and engineer-in-charge (EIC) at the Doha and Mumbai, India offices. He solved technical problems, becoming one of the youngest EICs. As a field service manager at the Shenzhen, China office, he led business development efforts and helped the oil company increase revenues. At the Khartoum, Sudan office, Mr. Soni served as the country manager for the Wireline Division, where he helped expand the company’s team from 27 to 65 in eight months and negotiated a contract with Chinese National Petroleum Corporation.
By 2008, after completing an MBA from the Wharton School, Mr. Soni had been hired by Booz & Company as an engagement manager, where he worked across the energy industry value chain. He conducted market assessments, investigated investment opportunities in the natural gas and oil sectors, and performed a comprehensive review of commodities trading, risk, and financing for a leading US utility.
Since leaving Booz & Company in 2013, Mr. Soni has assisted Alaris Aerospace Systems with expanding its operation into North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe. The company serves over 300 airlines worldwide.
